Positions at MEDSTAT,
Inc.
Data Entry
Entering patient demographics and
insurance information into the computer system. Also entering CPT and
ICD9 codes into patient accounts to create an account for insurance
and patient billing. Answering telephone calls from patients regarding
balances on their bills.
A/R Posting
Applying payments and insurance credits
to patient accounts, and balance to bank accounts. Filing appeals to
insurance carriers for improper payments or disallowances. Answering
phone calls from insurance carriers regarding patient billing, balance
billing and incorrect payment by the carrier.
